This comfortable, terraced holiday villa, recently refurbished in 2018, has a south-facing patio area with table and chairs, and sits within a private resort which is on the stunning cliff top next to the Royal Cromer Golf Club. Enjoying a prime position within the resort, Villa 24 is close to the town’s famous lighthouse, and there are excellent cliff top walks nearby with a stepped/sloped path leading down to the coast and the seaside resort of Cromer, 1 mile. Guests have shared use of on-site facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room and fitness studio which are available from Spring bank holiday to September. A bar/restaurant for dining in or take-away is available all year offering regular themed evenings and entertainment. A local supermarket can be found 500 yards away, with pubs and shops 1 mile.

Within a mile is the popular, traditional Victorian seaside resort of Cromer, with its wide sandy beach, lifeguard (summer season), an 18-hole cliff top golf course and promenade gardens. During the summer season, there is plenty of entertainment, including the famous theatre pier shows. The pier is also the home of the very famous Cromer Lifeboat that is steeped with local history. Sheringham, 5 miles, offers a further sandy beach. RSPB nature and bird reserves can be found at Cley, Blakeney and Morston. For children, there is Amazonia Zoo in Cromer, a go-karting centre 1 mile away and Wroxham Barns. Other attractions include Bure Valley Miniature Steam Railway, National Trust stately homes such as Blicking Hall and Felbrigg Hall, and the Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade.

Nearby activities include a cinema, golf, fishing, cycling/bike hire, mini golf, bowling green, tennis club, museums and horseback riding. Shops and pubs 1 mile, restaurant on-site.

    Villa 24 is very tired and not very clean. The bathroom in particular is damp and dirty with mould around the bath and tiles with a noisy extractor fan and lots of the fittings rusty and dirty. The main bedroom is very small with only 11" around the bottom of the bed. No bedside lights or cabinets and we had to clean the floor. The fridge freezer is not there - it is an old fridge with an ice box. The lighting is very poor with 2 bulbs missing in the kitchen and dirty lampshades in the lounge.

    Response on behalf of the owner; We have just returned from our first visit to the property since purchase. We have been unable to visit the property as we honoured the bookings that had already been made, a decision which after receiving negative comments, we are regretting. During our visit we have replaced all lampshades and bulbs. New lamps have been placed in the bedrooms and lounge. New wall art has been purchased along with throws and cushions for the sofas, together with a new shower curtain and headboard. Doors have been painted window sills have been varnished, blinds have been cleaned and utensils have been replaced in the kitchen. We had a meeting with the Director of the cleaning company and liaised with the Head Housekeeper at Cromer Country Club to discuss the negative comments regarding the cleanliness of the property. They have both assured us going forward, that they will ensure the villa is cleaned to a high standard. During the winter months we intend to replace the sofas, blinds and curtains, together with the fan in the bathroom and paint the whole of the property. We aim to offer a high standard of property which will be shown in the new photos on the website in due course.

    In need of updating could not be considered as being in the luxury class. Bathroom in particular a bit smelly probably because needs proper ventilation

    Response on behalf of the Owner; We are new Owners (since August 4th). It is difficult to address issues during the season whilst people are staying. We are going to assess what needs to be done to Villa 24 during the autumn / winter months and prepare for 2018.
