Although the villa was fine, and the country club facilities were good, there were a lot of little annoying things that made our stay here a little frustrating. The kitchen is tiny, with not much fridge space at all. The dishwasher is stuck high up on a wall which made it very difficult for my mother to reach and access. The place was freezing when we arrived and took a long time to heat up. The towel rails in the bathroom didn't work so they were permanently freezing. The showers were very temperamental, and one of the bath plugs was stuck. The bedroom downstairs doesn't have a heater in. None of the rooms have very many sockets. The master bedroom has one socket. It also has two lamps on the bedside tables which weren't and can't be plugged into anything. Incredibly silly! It would have been good to have some more information about what sort of things we needed to take with us, such as tea towel, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, soap, hand towels, tea, coffee etc. You can't park a car particularly near to the Villa, and as we arrived and left in the pouring doesn't rain it meant a lot of soggy trips back and forth to the car park. All in all, it was fine. Liveable, but not comfortable. And definitely wouldn't stay there again.

We had a good holiday despite the state of this property. Good location, nice pool to use, lovely Norfolk things to do. But the villa was in a bad state of repair.

In the master bedroom there were lights next to the bed. Neither of them could be plugged in without dragging the bed into a very awkward position in the room. In the upstairs bathroom I injured my toe where the sharp edge of the floor tiles protrude as you enter the room. The toilet seats are such poor quality that one wobbled and the other came off. The staff at the country club where the villa is situated were fantastic and helped on a couple of occasions although they didn't have to. The location was lovely.

This is a private villa on a largish complex with a good location and facilities i.e. the pool complex and pub were excellent. Although the Villa is an attractive quiet place to stay with considerable potential, its let down by a lack of care and attention to detail, despite what seems some to be some recent refurbishment. We experienced several irritating issues i.e. towel rails not working (no place to dry towels), no high chair as advertised, unusable patio furniture (rusty and green mold), garden tubs full of rotting leaves and infested with life, no mirrors or shelves in bathrooms, only one power outlet in double bedroom inhibiting bedside lights, rooms not particularly clean when you looked under the furniture. Be aware 3G Phone signal only just possible on patio, its quite a way from the nearest parking for unloading bags etc, you only get one key. I would certainly hesitate in booking this place again particularly when other resort owned villas offer the same if not better.

The cottage was not as clean as I would have liked and the patio furniture was old and rusty. There were irritating issues like no plug sockets near the bed in the main bedroom so a bedside lamp, although provided, could not be accessed for switching off without getting out of bed. Also there were no proper mirrors in the bathrooms and so shaving was a mission! However the facilities at the resort were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
