Really stunning property. Feels like you're living in your own Manor. Ideal for family holidays or like us 3 couples. Having the local pub so close is great, the food was delicious. Property is central to so many beautiful things to see in Snowdonia. The 500ft deep slate mine at Llecwedd is amazing. A must to visit.

This is super lodge that is very well equiped. The owners have thought of every detail so it was like a home from home. The local area was fantastic for walking, cycling and exploring and the locals were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend a stay.

We spent a wonderful holiday in Victoria Lodge. The house (especially the kitchen) is very well-equipped and very clean. We appreciate every moment we spent there. The contact with the owner was very easy.

Where to begin? 'Cottage' does not begin to do this place justice. Neither does 'lodge' or the photos on the website. It feels a bit more like a small country house. Partly that's because of the build quality: solid stone floors and spiral staircase, two-inch-thick Gothic doors, stained glass windows, chandeliers, etc. Partly it's the spacious proportions and extraordinarily generous amenities: massive kitchen with every conceivable appliance; lovely bedrooms, extra-comfortable beds; sprawling suite of sitting rooms; loads of thoughtful extra touches (e.g. 3 wifi routers, because the signal doesn't travel through the two foot-thick stone walls; dozens of board games; perhaps 100 DVDs). Yet everything seems brand new, including all the paintwork and woodwork. Location's great as well: beautiful view from the conservatory; beautifully kept garden; easy to find; groceries available in village just a few steps away; plenty of local walks; and weeks' worth of activities within a one-hour radius of enjoyable driving in every direction. Look after it for us, please: we'll be back.

An extremely beautiful and spacious family home. Immaculately clean. Decorated to an extremely high standard. Perfect location. View of mountains from back of the house. Owner has provided everything, from toiletries and cleaning materials to games and dvd's to keep everyone occupied if you're staying in. Perfect, perfect holiday residence.

Victoria Lodge was a absolute fantastic property and a great experience. We stayed with three kids there end of May 2017 and everything was perfect. Received a welcome package in advance, so planning was easy before arriving. The property was fabulous. An old chapel furnished by an well experienced and talented hand. The equipment in the house was astonishing. There was nothing, that we missed! The town was perfect to start tours by cycle or just for walking. I really can recommend Victoria Lodge for all kind of visitors: group of people, who want to make sport, families who wants to recover etc.
