Valley View is an environmentally-friendly property, set in the rural crofting township of Holmisdale. This detached, single-storey holiday property offers uninterrupted views over the valley, and the MacLeods Tables. Neist Point and Loch Pooltiel are a short drive away, as are the pristine coral beaches and Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. Portree is the island capital for shopping, with a swimming pool, climbing wall and the Aros Visitor Centre. Take a boat trip or visit the seal colonies, with fishing, kayaking, pony trekking and mountain biking. Beach 8 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub 8 miles and restaurant 200 yards.

    I stayed in the cottage with a friend from abroad. We visited all the peninsulas and some centre parts to enjoy the wonderful scenery. Really fab scenery on the island and I will definitely come back to explore more and do more walking. This cottage was not in the most central of places but perfect if not touring a lot as it is nice to relax in the nearby areas as well rather than drive a lot everyday. Would have been nice if there were more restaurants and other eateries as the ones that were nice were full all the time already in May week. The cottage could do with an internal deep cleaning but it is nice and up to date and well equipped otherwise. Hot water lasted until Wednesday when we noticed that we need to put the boiler on for an hour. Nice cottage.
