A fantastic place to stay. An open, airy space inside with lots of windows and light, but still very warm and comfortable, no doubt due to the building materials. We'd stay again.

We had a wonderful holiday and did not want to come home the only thing I would change about the accommodation is the bath, it is perfect for those who prefer showers, a shelf for toiletries would have been useful too, however this in no way detracted from our holiday or our enjoyment of the accommodation it was brilliant...

What a fabulous place to stay! Away from it all but still within walking distance (2 minutes!) of a lovely cafe (the Red Roof Gallery) The accommodation was simple, stylish, clean and well laid out. The Air-conditioning unit on the ceiling in the lounge heats as well as cools and ins very effective. We loved the open plan living accommodation as it was very sociable at meal preparation times. The kitchen was well equipped with all the tools you needed, I think the only tool missing was a garlic crusher but that's no a big issue! I would have liked a freezer compartment in the fridge (mainly for ice) but again, it didn't spoil my holiday not having one! Having the little utility room with washing machine was great! The views from Valley View are gorgeous and its very close to Neist point which is worth several visits, its particularly gorgeous there near sunset. We really couldn't fault any aspect of our holiday in Skye and Valley View was a super place to relax after a day out taking in the sights. Be aware, if you accidentally leave the gates open you WILL have sheep, lots of sheep in your garden. We did just this and then had to practice our shepherding skills (we were very good!) in order to relocate them, they also started waiting outside the gate when we got in the car to go out on remaining mornings, bless them! I would go back to Valley View without any hesitation - I LOVED IT :) Oh and the owner is very helpful too
