We couldn't fault this accommodation. This wasn't booked as a holiday, as we were house clearing in the area. But it was so lovely to arrive back at the cottage every evening to relax in such tranquil surroundings. We couldn't have booked anything better. We have just returned from our second week. Thanks, Les and Caroline for your hospitality.

The best equipped place that I have ever stayed at. Everything had been thought about and was provided. A lovely extra touch with fresh flowers, tea/coffee and biscuits and wine - white and red! The owner took time to show us how things worked and made us feel very welcome. Extremely highly recommended, no hesitation in staying again or singing their praises :-)

    Response from: sue

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your comments, we value customers feedback. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay here with us at Valley View. The property is rural and your own transport is needed, this is stated in the description. However, following your comments we have recently modified the description to emphasise that the property does not have nearby pavement or streetlights but the location is more than suitable for off peats walking and rambling as there are many public access and paths nearby.

Beautiful high specification, well thought out holiday holiday home with friendly owners across the garden. Breakfast bar with stools in kitchen as well as large dining room table and chairs in lounge. Good location for frequent trains to London and Oxford within a short drive. Good large if expensive farm shop on outskirts of village and community run shop in next village. Good base for visiting nearby National Trust properties. Pub in next village (Hampton Norreys?) may be typical of area in price £11.95 for roast Sunday lunch and £5.50 for a pint of orange juice and lemonade. Owner has provided well thought out folder of local attractions in the cottage.

Overall and compared to other self-catering properties, this is a fantastic cottage. Every detail has been considered and the welcome pack, wet room and automatic (subtle) outside lighting lift it into the top class
