Great for walking the Thames Path. An absolutely beautiful cottage with every facility you could possibly want and delightful owners on site - the cottage is in their garden!

Very well equipped. Good area. Good owners. Two problems. 1) We kept bumping our heads in the loft conversion 2) A light which you switch on from upstairs before proceeding downstairs to the loo in the early hours of the morning

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. There is a two way switch at the bottom of the stairs and also one at the top that turns the light on just for the stairs.

We couldn't fault this accommodation. This wasn't booked as a holiday, as we were house clearing in the area. But it was so lovely to arrive back at the cottage every evening to relax in such tranquil surroundings. We couldn't have booked anything better. We have just returned from our second week. Thanks, Les and Caroline for your hospitality.

The best equipped place that I have ever stayed at. Everything had been thought about and was provided. A lovely extra touch with fresh flowers, tea/coffee and biscuits and wine - white and red! The owner took time to show us how things worked and made us feel very welcome. Extremely highly recommended, no hesitation in staying again or singing their praises :-)

There are no disadvantages but its location far from transportation and services If you want to just sit back and enjoy the Calm, or you You have a car VALLEY VIEW good for you.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your comments, we value customers feedback. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay here with us at Valley View. The property is rural and your own transport is needed, this is stated in the description. However, following your comments we have recently modified the description to emphasise that the property does not have nearby pavement or streetlights but the location is more than suitable for off peats walking and rambling as there are many public access and paths nearby.
