We have been going to this bungalow for some 17 years, and over that time we have seen a deterioration in the property, in some cases it is little things but there are items like the broken tiles around the twin basin's in the bathroom, it has been like it for two years now !! There is still signs of black mould in the bunk room wardrobe which has been on going for several years, it is as a result of an over flowing gutter by the front door. the cooker hood vents back into the kitchen not out side as it used to do so the kitchen still gets steamed up the cooker hood is not really of any use apart from the lights in it. In the lounge the curtains have been replaced since last year, but the patio doors are very old alloy units and well past their sell by date. The hoover never seems to be cleaned out and for the second year in a row I have had to take it apart to clean the pipes out and wash the filter then it picks up properly.

Spacious accommodation on a friendly site. Ideal for exploring North Cornwall and easy to get to A30 to venture further out. Only concern was that a few of the dining chairs need to be re-padded as they were uncomfortable.

A large bungalow with awell equiped kitchen and new carpets threw out. Beds made up with white linen. Was greeted on arrival by a gentleman who told us about beaches shops etc nearby. The bungalow Was excellent and will be even better when the bathroom has been improved it needs shower in bathroom and a wider bath. The shower in bedroom was good and should be left there. The other toilet was handy. The fish and chip shop in Camelford Was.excellent as was the two grocery shops. My only moan is that the double bedroom window looked out on to touring caravans . and would benefit from some voile curtains or a blind.

Our holiday in Cornwall was made better because of the lovely accommodation at Truckle Valley Bungalow. It easily accommodated the 8 of us. Lovely size and layout and comfortable bedrooms. A recently new kitchen was very nicely laid out and we liked the open plan of the kitchen and very large dining room. Also had nice large garden to the front and sufficient parking to the rear. A couple of us said Wi-Fi would have been useful and perhaps a shower over the bath as well as the en-suite shower in the main bedroom. But they are minor things, but then again the caravan site shower block is only a two minute walk away if you get fed up waiting for the shower! The location of the bungalow is ideal, on a very nice and quiet caravan site, a couple of minutes drive from Camelford amenities. It was ideally placed as a base for Tintagel, Boscastle and easy car journeys of less than an hour to Newquay, Padstow and St Austell for the Lost Gardens of Helligan. All in all highly recommended.
