Vale View has been one of the best cottages we have stayed in so far. The design of the cottage, with its living areas on the first floor, made for lovely views across the countryside with the multiple aspect windows around the open plan area. The cottage itself is bright, sunny, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds were all very comfortable, which was appreciated by us all. The oil central heating was awesome, firing on with great speed when required and making the house warm and cosy within minutes. The extensive garden was a delight for our little Jack Russell terrier to run around in. The tennis court was an extra treat and the cottage wifi, which was freely available, was much more efficient than the one we have at home! The owners, who live in the large house nearby, remained discreet and unobtrusive yet friendly and were readily available to assist if we had any questions regarding the cottage or the locality. Our stay was a short one over the Easter bank holiday weekend and we were sad to leave at the end of our stay, feeling it was too short, but we are sure we will go back there again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was just as advertised. We had a brilliant time exploring the area, we would go again.
