From a touch of luxury to characterful heritage, experience one of our truly inspiring holiday properties.

Dine on the terrace overlooking the river and relax in the evening after a day exploring beautiful Provence.

In an idyllic position on the leafy banks of the River Sorgue with only the sound of the birds, the cigalles and the rippling water, it is hard to believe the shops, cafés and restaurants of the town centre are only a short walk away. All the rooms of this small semi-detached villa open onto the lawned gardens with a sunny pool and poolhouse, which are shared with the discreet owners as well as one other holiday property at the end of the garden (F84236). It has its own private dining terrace overlooking the river where you can watch the jade dragonflies, ducks and trout drift by from the comfort of the hammock slung between the trees. The town is criss-crossed by the clear river, and renowned for its antiques shops and lively market. The property is well placed for discovering this interesting area of Provence. There is a golf course 3km away.

Living/dining room with corner kitchen and French doors to private terrace. Queen-size bedroom with patio doors to garden. Shower room. Separate WC. Tiled floors throughout

We had a fabulous time at Utopia and clearly understand why so many guests who wrote reviews were repeat visitors. The location is idyllic and makes you relax immediately. The two private terraces - one in front of Utopia and the other by the riverside are so lovely, its difficult to tare yourself away. Mimi and Patrick who own both Gites on their property were very welcoming and we thank them for the sun-downers by the pool and their warm hospitality. The location is perfect too, just 5 mins walk to a traditional boulongerie and 10 mins to Super U. The center of the beautiful town with its array of bars, restaurants and shops is also a leisurely 10-15 mins walk. Thoroughly recommend it.

This was our second visit to 'Utopia' (aptly named). The property is in an ideal location for walking into the town but also as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside and towns. It is a great place to return to and relax after a day out. Patrick and Mimi, the owners, are very friendly and informative and it's a pleasure to know them. Isle sur la Sorgue is a very pretty town with a variety of restaurants, somewhere to suit everybody, whatever their taste. The Sunday market is wonderful and is great fun to wander round and stock up on fresh produce. We are already thinking about returning next year.
