Description

Beautifully presented and set on a working farm with idyllic countryside views to enjoy, this property is brilliant for a romantic getaway.

Situated in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside

These two holiday properties (refs 28775, 28776) offer contemporary accommodation throughout. Situated on the owner’s working farm, The Tractor Shed and The Stables are two barn conversions surrounded by open fields, which both boast far-reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. These holiday properties are located close to the charming hillside village of Bourton-on-the-Hill and are situated less than two miles from the popular market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The village is fortunate to have Batsford Estate and Arboretum close by and here you can enjoy a walk around the beautiful grounds any time of the year. From Easter to November there is a very good tea room and the Cotswold Falconry Centre is open. In the village is Bourton House with its 16th century Tythe Barn, which opens its gardens to the public weekly throughout the summer months. The heart of England Way passes through the village and along with other footpaths, provides a pleasurable way to see the countryside around this pleasant area. The village has one pub which serves wonderful food. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Ground floor: Living room with tiled floor/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 1 double (5ft) bedroom with en-suite shower over bath and toilet.

Both properties: Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-fi. Courtyard with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Welcome pack. No smoking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at theTractor Shed. A lovely welcoming hamper greeted us . Very clean and well presented. Location was brilliant and Rufus, our dog, was in 7th heaven with doorstep walks over the fields. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very enjoyable few days. The interior presented to a very high standard but was also comfortable, cosy and liveable. It was very clean and the welcome basket was much appreciated. The view from the living area was amazing, though my dog is used to cats and squirrels and couldn't quite cope with the usual walk by of a pheasant. Very central location to all of the places of interest but for us the weather was horrendous so we spent quite a lot of time at The Tractor Shed just relaxing and charging our batteries. Would definitely stay again!!!

Myself and my partner had the most wonderful stay at The Tractor Shed. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The cottage is gorgeous; light and peaceful, it had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the shower being very power-less, but that really wasn't a problem. We had a lovely time exploring the Cotswolds from a very central location. Thank you so much!

Had a fabulous time, not all kitchen lights worked so brought lamps down from upstairs for evening which enhanced the room. Lovely welcome gifts. Bed really comfy, bathroom nice although shower not the best but resorted to baths which was fabulous. Would stay again but for longer, thank you

Really lovely cottage, perfect size for 2 people and so many nice towns and villages to explore nearby. Plus the view of the sunrise from your bed in the morning is amazing! Follow Gavin and Lisa's directions carefully and you'll find the cottage fine

We booked the Tractor Shed to have somewhere quiet and peaceful to come back to after visiting places like Cardiff, Leamington Spa, Bath and Boughton-on-the-water each day, and it didn't disappoint! A lovely get-away, the Tractor Shed has been beautifully and lovingly converted. We had a wonderful stay.

The only problem was finding the cottage, directions said sign with name at entrance road - no sign drove up and down road for hour trying to locate and sat nav takes you elsewhere.
