Description

A detached barn conversion set in a an AONB in picturesque gardens with views towards Cardigan Bay.

Dating back to 1840, this characterful detached barn conversion is an idyllic holiday retreat on the Lleyn Peninsula, nestling within its own secluded gardens complete with woodland, natural spring and far-reaching views across unspoilt countryside towards Cardigan Bay. Set at the end of a peaceful country lane, within an AONB, it is ideally placed for scenic walks and days out at one of the nearby beaches. There are plenty of outdoor pursuits including golf, sailing, sea and coarse fishing, horse riding and an activity park within a 20-minute drive. The golden bays of Abersoch are 4½ miles, popular for dinghy-sailing, and the market town of Pwllheli offers shops, restaurants and pubs.

Partially beamed living/dining room with electric woodburner. Well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen with door to garden. Laundry room. Double bedroom with four-poster bed. Bunk bedroom. Shower room (no toilet). Separate toilet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tyn Y Muriau and will definitely be booking to go there again. Our host Steve, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The barn itself is cosy, comfortable, well-equipped and immaculately clean. The setting/location absolutely perfect, amongst valleys and hills, so peaceful and tranquil, with just birdsong to hear and sheep in the meadows. We enjoyed some marvellous walks along the coastline and beaches and visited nearby National Trust venues. If you want a truly restful holiday away from the 'hustle and bustle'...we can recommend Tyn Y Muriau to be the ideal place. Amanda and Dave (Cheddar)
