Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. Immaculate throughout. Lots of space for four adults and a baby. We all said we would definitely return and I would highly recommend to friends as a base to explore this part of Wales.

Disappointing that there was neither a phone signal nor internet connection available. Comfortable and clean but lacked provision of basics. Ask you to clean cottage but no cleaning materials. Basic cooking ingredients not provided either. Very bare cupboards.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We would love to offer Wifi, however due to the distance of our cottage from the telephone exchange we get limited signal and so unfortunately cannot offer internet connection to our guests at this time. We do ask our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition, and we provide cleaning appliances and cloths in the cottage for your convenience. We thoroughly clean the property ourselves between lets. The cottage is let on a self-catering basis, so food and other cooking ingredients are not supplied. However, as a welcome to our guests we do provide a few basics to make a cup of tea or coffee on arrival. The kitchen is also well equipped with cooking utensils and crockery, which we hope suited your needs. I hope you still enjoyed your stay in North Wales and found all other aspects of your stay comfortable and welcoming.

The hosts were given literally an hour's notice before we descended upon them yet this in no way deterred them from providing the friendliest of welcomes to their converted barn which was beautiful and pristine clean. The immediate locality is very quiet with no amenities but a mile and a half down the road there are plenty of shops and a large supermarket. Once you stock up on food treats and wine there would be very little reason to venture too far from this beautiful location. However, Conwy Castle is a 10 minute drive away and if you're looking to immerse yourself in authentic 'Welsh Wales' Caernarfon is no more than an hour away by car. This holiday accommodation is stunning and I would love to return.

Very impressed with cottage, the inside was exactly as shown in the pictures. On the outside, it had it's own impressive, spacious driveway and private fenced garden, ideal for the children playing. It was a perfect base to explore North Wales.
