The cottage is in a beautiful location and the farmer is very friendly and welcoming. We were able to access all local amenities easily, although not much goes on in llanelli, we only really went there to go to the supermarket. The good stuff is all a drive away. We did have a really good day at the WWT on Llanell's estuary and would recommend this to others. The downside to the cottage is it is very uncomfortable. All the mattresses on all the beds are broken. The sofas are old and in need of replacement. The kitchen knives are so blunt we couldn't use them. It was lucky we brought a kitchen knife from home or we wouldn't have been able to prepare any food. Perhaps most worrying is the electricity supply, which may have a safety certificate but the supply is not big enough for the house. If you have a shower, the lights dim. Only one ring on the hob can heat up at any one time. If you turn one electrical appliance off, any others you are using get a power surge! The oil boiler is also ancient and in need of servicing. In all, this is a nice house with plenty of potential but it needs some investment in it or order to make it better value for money and somewhere people may want to return to.
