Lovely spacious bedrooms and a fantastic upstairs lounge. The terrace is a great place to sit and enjoy an afternoon drink and the gardens are good for playing in. The things that let this house down are the lack of decent showers, the en-suite would benefit from having a proper shower over the bath and a curtain. We struggled every morning trying to all get showered and out in a reasonable time. The kitchen didn't work for us either, I know they are trying to keep it rustic but there was no flow to it or storage. All in all we did have an enjoyable time at Ty Gaer and it did tick most of our boxes.

Fantastic house in a lovely location. The house is very large and spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. There were 10 family members and Sam the dog, we enjoyed every minute of our stay, we didn't want to leave.
