Excellent house. Versatile and well equipped Owner very friendly and helpful but kept out of the way The sitting room was lovely - plenty of space for us all to do our own thing but still be together Lovely to be able to take the dog but the garden not enclosed or dog proof so we made sure the hound was on a lead all the time We made full use of the outside space - great to have plenty of seats, tables & umbrellas & lovely to be able to step outside to enjoy the fabulous rural views We did have to drive past a couple of times to find the property & we had a supermarket delivery & they too had difficulty finding the house - perhaps just the name on the gate would help Pool table a great hit ! Perhaps not Olympic standard but great fun Very spacious bedrooms & plenty of flexibility for sleeping arrangements Great to have ground floor bedroom & bathroom for anyone that struggles with stairs

A fantastic property - we had a weekend break with two other families to celebrate a family birthday and had a brilliant visit. The rooms were very comfortable and we had everything we needed - there is a very impressive range of glasses and kitchen equipment. The house is very comfortable and homely, and yet still has imposing features. The large upper lounge is a real wow factor - great to let the children spread out and play games while the grown ups have peace and quiet in the kitchen or living room downstairs. The pool table got a lot of use too! The open countryside views are lovely and we had a very nice walk directly from the house. Great to be able to bring the dogs with us too. The owner was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing.

Great location for a family holiday. Cottage is well equipped for a large party with lots of comfortable space for everyone! A note for others about the hibernating flies in the eaves.....easily managed with a daily spray and clean up which Magaret was more than happy to do, just nature but could be annoying to some! Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Would recommend the castle and gardens at Powis as well as Lake Vrynwy and a day in Shrewsbury!
