Description

Once a minister’s house, this beautiful holiday home oozes character and is situated just half a mile from the beach!

Attached to a former chapel and adjacent to the owner’s home, this delightful holiday cottage was once the Welsh chapel minister’s house. The fire and brimstone are long gone and this property now provides very comfortable accommodation for four, with a cosy lounge with feature multi-fuel burner. There are plenty of beams which add character to this property. The beach is about a ½-mile away and Ty Capel Gosen makes a great base from which to explore the area, with Caernarfon with its mighty Edward I castle, and Welsh Highland Railway within easy reach, as is the beautiful Llyn Peninsula with a selection of glorious sandy beaches. Beach ½ mile. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 5 miles.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room. Kitchen. First floor: 2 double bedrooms (one 5ft). Shower room with toilet.

Multi-fuel burner (provides central heating) in living room included. Open fire in dining room included. Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot on request. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Freezer. Wi-fi. Courtyard with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. No smoking.

Beautiful cottage and the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay. Cottage is very well equipped and immaculate. Heating is reliant on the wood burner but heaters also given in bedrooms which was good. Logs for the burner are provided. Location was great for exploring the local areas, all need driving to but beautiful scenery all around so gorgeous drives in to see all these places. Plenty of larger supermarkets a drive away or a small shop is walking distance from the cottage. Gorgeous, quiet, pebble beach within walking distance which also has car park. Definitely recommended.

The owners are helpful and welcoming . Cottage has every thing you need and is spotless, You have to go further afield for anything other than a shop, but its a nice village with a small harbour. An enjoyable stay apart from the weather!

Not much in the way of amenities in the village, one little shop, but other than that lots to do in the area and surrounding area. Cottage is lovely, clean comfortable.

We had a great stay, the owners were really welcoming but not at all intrusive. The cottage was very comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout. The multi-fuel burner made the whole cottage really cosy. I would thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing stay.

Owners were great and around if you needed anything. Excellent location to explore the peninsula with good access roads. We would definitely stay again.
