Nice location and pretty clean, however cottage feels dated and owners need to spend some money on basic items such as washing line, patio set etc.

Peaceful and relaxing location surrounded by woodlands and beautifully kept gardens. Ideal for dog owners. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and lovely views to wake up to. Well equipped but dated. Shower not very powerful but does the job. Ten minute drive to Newport with lots of quality pubs and a small expensive supermarket.

Lovely location. Overall cottage was comfy however a few things could have been better. Such as, no welcome pack on arrival (normally at least milk is provided), no DVD player and cosier rugs would have been nice.

A lovely cottage in an idyllic, peaceful location. Really good value for money. Could do with a few updates such as renovating the bbq but would stay there again.

A third year in a row we have stayed here and was pleased to see that the cottage had changed a little . The updated soafas although too small for a taller perosn, where a comfy alternative to the old ones and the musty smell had gone throughout the place . The fresh lick of paint made for a cleaner feel to the place . Still the same old manky washing machine and very poor shower ,( just trickles ) both of which I think would top the place off nicely, if updated. Nice added bonus too was the free wifi and new large tv which was not there last year . Overall another good stay .
