You get more than the description tells you, the entrance hall you see is ALL yours, no-one else shares it, and once upstairs the landing is very large, and has a dining area for you to use.
This opens via french doors onto a balcony, 10 feet by 8 feet with table, chairs and a BBQ that is available for you to use. The sun sets directly in front of the house, and when the weather is good the view over the parkland is terrific.
If you want to lay in the sun, take your own sun-bed.
The lounge is 20 feet by 20 feet, it DOES have a wardrobe in the turret, plenty big enough for most people.
There is UK TV via SKY, nothing special, but there is a DVD player and a lot of DVD's
Downside, no wifi.
The bedroom is large with a large chest of drawers, and the en-suite is shower only.
You genuinely CAN walk into Hesdin, some good places to eat, very reasonably priced too.
Caretakers are friendly and helpful.
All in all you get more than you expect, not less, if you want to relax and do very little this is a great place, near enough to bars without driving, but quiet enough to get a way from it all.
I would definitely go again.
