St in a walled garden, this romantic rural retreat for two, is surrounded by farmland with walks from the door. Only short drive to Bodmin.

This spacious holiday cottage, fitted and furnished to a very good standard, has been thoughtfully designed to keep many of the original features of the building. The cottage is set in a walled garden courtyard on a working livery farm, with chickens roaming freely and horses kept in the surrounding field. This is a romantic getaway or retreat. There is access across the fields to the Camel Trail, which follows the River Camel from Padstow to Bodmin Moor, for cyclists and walkers. The area is surrounded with forestry walks and cycle routes. The Bodmin Heritage Steam Railway also runs by the farm boundary and there is a station where you can board a short walk away. The local pub is also a short walk over the fields. Golf, horse riding and fishing are all available locally. Pendewey Farm is set down a quiet country lane, a short 5-minute drive from the centre of historic Bodmin, with its shops, pubs and supermarkets. The National Trust Lanhydrock House and Gardens, Bodmin Jail, Camel Valley Vineyard and Pencarrow House are all within 5 miles. The Eden Project is only a 20-minute drive. Tour the North Cornwall coast from Padstow, where you will find the famous Rick Stein seafood restaurant, to beautiful Boscastle and Port Isaac. Inland, explore the wild and rugged Bodmin Moor. On the south coast are the old fishing ports of Fowey, Looe and Polperro. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub ½ mile. These spacious holiday cottages, finished and fitted to a very good standard, have been thoughtfully designed keeping some original features. From the station at Bodmin Parkway you can walk to NT Lanhydrock House. From the cottages you can walk to the Camel Valley Vineyard to sample and purchase the local wines. Within walking distance is the local pub and the Camel Trail, a level disused railway line, with an abundance of wildlife along the Camel Estuary - ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riding. The properties are ideally situated to visit the North Cornwall coastal resorts of Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, and Padstow - home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Very comfortable, well appointed accommodation. If you prefer a bath sheet to a bath towel would suggest you take one with you. Would recommend this dog friendly property and will hopefully return. Ideal location with lots worth visiting within 12 to15 miles. Would highly recommend Tourist Information in Bodmin- staff very friendly and helpful
