An excellent cottage in superb surroundings. I've rented cottages for forty plus years and would rate this one at top of scale. The finish and workmanship is astounding down to the provision of steak knives and pastry forks, what a treat! We were made very welcome by Tracey the owner and provided with a Devon cream tea, very welcome after a 480 mile drive. Beautiful house in magnificent surroundings!

The cottage was beautiful, the owners have done the most amazing job renovating it. Felt like a home from home. Everything you need is there. The location is amazing, beautiful rolling countryside yet within 5-10 minutes of loads of amenities. So many things to do close by for all ranges of family ages.

The cottage had everything you could want, lovely secluded location, but a short drive to shops and pubs. Tumbledown Cottage was wonderfully restored and made our week in Devon very comfortable and enjoyable. Lucy our 10 year old loved the trampoline and making friends with the cats!

Fantastic location close to all amenities but still feeling like you are in the middle of the countryside. Beautifully clean, modern and spacious - friendly owners. Would difinately visit again.

This cottage served our purpose excellently as a base from which to visit our family members who live in the Bideford area. It would be great for anyone looking for a complete get away, tucked away down a country lane with absolutely stunning views of nothing but countryside. We are unlikely to stay here again simply because there is no Wi-Fi and we find that too restricting although many others may see this as a bonus! The owners who live in another of the converted barns were very welcoming and on hand if you needed them
