Tudor Stable is an outdoor enthusiasts dream! Enjoy walks amongst the owner’s 450 acres or admire the wildlife and horses.

Perfectly situated within 450 acres of the owners grounds right in the heart of the Cotswolds, these charming adjoining holiday cottages (refs 29613 and 29931) are in the most incredible location from which to enjoy and explore the beauty and attractions of the local and surrounding areas. Nestled away on Manor Farm in the middle of an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, guests will be able to enjoy every one of the unique aspects of the grounds. The Dingle has been furnished to a very good standard and the family bathroom has a quirky finish with fossils in the decoration, which date back thousands of years. Tudor Stable has been lovingly converted with local artefacts; wood from the grounds, stone from the quarry and many more personal touches. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and people who love to horse ride, there are many public footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways that criss-cross straight through the grounds and will take guests to many locations both near and far, including the Cotswold Way and the Rollright Stones. The undulating grounds offer much to see and explore including a limestone quarry, a running stream, ponds, woodland and unspoilt natural countryside which also includes a forest of White Willow trees from which the wood is produced for cricket bats used by world famous batsmen and cricketers across the globe. There are also plenty of opportunities to quietly watch the wildlife and horses that live on the farm and also, with an extra cost and prior agreement with the owner, the opportunity to take part in riding lessons, stabling, schooling and training provided by the owner who is a world renowned horse trainer. The popular Cotswold market town of Chipping Norton is only a short drive away, as is the famous organic shop and café which sells local produce. The owner will also be happy to arrange for a local catering company to visit the property if the dates are convenient. For guests wishing to travel a little further afield but still remain within an easy 30-minute drive, there is ample opportunity to visit one of the many Cotswolds towns and villages which are renowned for their character and charm. Visit Burford, Witney, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Abingdon, Banbury, Hook Norton ,Bourton-on-the-Water, Shipston, Broadway or Chipping Campden. The cathedral city of Oxford, Bicester Village and Designer Outlet Centre, Cheltenham, Blenheim Palace which is famous for being the birthplace of Winston Churchill are all must see places to visit as well as William Wordsworth’s Stratford-upon-Avon which is only a 40-minute drive north of the area. Best all round value for money & location -the owner was very warm, welcoming, charming and hospitable. If its a hotel with white fluffy towels and slippers and marble floors you are looking for, then this is not for you as it's a working farm but has a charm all of it's own. There are lovely little touches in the Tudor Stable and has everything you need. The hot tub did add a touch of luxury though after long walk around the glorious farm and countryside surroundings.

The cottage was cold on arrival; no heat even though it was January. The bathroom was dirty and the property had not been vacuumed. It was full of excessive furniture ; a lot of which did not meet the fire retardant standards.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; We are sorry to hear that you found the cottage was cold on arrival. In our property we have under floor heating and oil filled radiators which only need to be switched on, however if you found there was a problem either the owners or Rafal would have been happy to help as he does always regularly check the heating is in good working order at all times. We take pride in our cleanliness and the property was cleaned prior to arrival. With regards to the excessive furniture we had recently put 4 extra chairs into the property on request on the last guests. We would have relocated this furniture within minutes if you had requested this.
