A brilliantly located cottage for the Keswick area. Very cosy and warm and loved the whirlpool bath and large shower. Comfortable bed and had lots of good night's sleep.Hotel owners were wonderful and Hotel was totally dog friendly. Loved having afternoon tea with a lovely view. Cottage is set right at the bottom of Skiddaw, enjoyed walking up and seeing the magnificent views. Would definitely recommend a stay here, especially if you have dogs.

Could not fault the cottage itself, warm, clean, cosy & well equipped, though more expensive than others we have visited. Sadly NOT dog friendly, no garden / immediate outside space to let them out safely & no outside lighting. Although 'set back' it was too close to A591 for peace & quiet. Ravenstone Hotel (adjacent to property) was excellent - good food & real charm! Particular thanks to Tyne, who made us very welcome.

Trusmadoor lies on the West-facing side of a range of hills that sit at the feet of Skiddaw mountain. The evening views are beautiful and the proximity of the hotel (about 50m away) means that you can relax and watch the sun go down. The cottage is very comfortable with the bathroom (whirlpool bath and multi-directional shower) being a high point. Relaxing with a bottle of bubbly in the bath after a good days walking was a real treat.

Cottage too close to a busy road- can hear traffic Difficult to park as car park often full -shared grounds with Ravenstone hotel Nice big bathroom. Some mould between the tiles. Underfloor heating throughout the property Able to use hotel facilities Small bedroom and not enough storage space No Blackout blind in the bedroom
