Wonderful location with view of Cuillin; convenient for Glenbrittle, Sligachan, Portree, Dunvegan as well as Oyster Bar in Carbost. Excellent bedrooms all en-suite. Kitchen well-appointed although it is worth searching for items. There could be more space for food storage, particularly vegetables. Dining room very useful as adjacent to kitchen. There were only four of us; interested to see how eight would cope (although aware that table extended). It would have been nice to know that we were meant to provide our own towels, but we obtained these from the caretakers. There is something wrong with the DVD player which only works in monochrome (not that we spend much time watching this). Would recommend thoroughly.

Cottage looked better in real life than from the photos. Really spacious, loads of bathrooms, good car parking, lovely views, nice and close to the Church, distillery and pub! This was a really comfortable cottage and a great place to be based for a week exploring Skye.

Spacious, very clean and extremely well equipped. This warm and comfortable cottage was ideal as a base for our holiday in Skye. The photos on the web site do not do it justice. Highly recommended.
