It was a lovely cottage and really well thought out. The kitchen utensils were of excellent quality. However we struggled with the mattress on the double bed so would suggest a new mattress. Apart from that we had a great stay. Thank you

The cottage location and furnishings were very good. However, my wife and I being in our early eighties (not the property's fault!) we found the staircase to the bedrooms and toilets difficult (slippery) for us to negotiate.

Tricks Cottage is a lovely cottage in a very small village in North Cornwall. It has been tastefully refurbished with everything to hand in terms of furniture, fixtures and fittings. It is extremely comfortable and attractive. It was easy to find and lies about 4 miles from the nearest village witth facilities such as shops, pubs and takeaways and about 10 miles from Bude. Located about 1km from the coastline, the coast can be accessed by public footpath or roads (many of which are typically narrow with high hedges. We were very pleased with the furnishings and also the considerable thoughtfulness of the owners in the quantity of crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment, games, information on the local area and the county etc. Everything was to hand. We ate out most of the time but the kitchen facilities were excellent. The location is quiet and peaceful, in a very small village of about 10-15 houses with very little traffic, apart from the working farmers, who were friendly and considerate. If you prefer to eat out, you will have to travel at least 4 miles.

We were four adults and found the cottage ideal for our needs.
