Atlantic Cottage is in a terrace between Orchard Cottage and the owner's property. I stayed for a week when the owners were away and Orchard Cottage was unoccupied. This gave me privacy and the use of the garden to myself. If the properties either side were occupied, there would have been far less privacy and I would have felt quite overlooked. This is the only reason that I wouldn't stay again - and it's a personal preference. Everything else about the cottage was great. The cottage was very clean throughout. The main bedroom was a good size with big comfy bed and lots of storage. Kitchen well-equipped with white goods, utensils, pans and crockery. Lovely to have a vase of fresh flowers that lasted throughout my stay. All very cosy and comfortable and a bonus to have an open fire. Two showers with good pressure but no bath if you fancied a soak after a bracing walk! Although there is no sea view from the cottage itself, there is a beautiful coastal walk within minutes, down past the church, turn right along the coastal path, past Merlin's cave and into town. Tintagel itself is small but has everything you need, including a really good fish & chip shop opposite the car park and good coffee shops as well as tourist, honey and gemstone boutiques. The pubs looked good too.

Absolutely lovely stay at Atlantic Cottage! Jackie and Ken are both very accommodating and have kept the cottage to a great standard. Very clean, good amenities and really well stocked with the essentials (pots, plans, bin liners, foil etc.) The location is outstanding with a 15 minute stroll into Tintagel for pubs and dining. The scenery around the cottage is stunning and the garden is beautiful for evening drinks and nibbles. Really enjoyed our stay. It was my wife and I and my little 9 month old who enjoyed the cot bed and high-chair provided! Thanks again for a great holiday. John, Lois, Freddie
