Enjoying spectacular views over Port Isaac Bay and surrounding countryside, these six timber lodges are furnished and equipped to a very comfortable standard providing excellent all year round holiday accommodation.
Located next to the owner’s 18th century farmhouse adjoining a 4-acre smallholding with farm animals, situated just under a mile from the unspoilt historic fishing village of Port Isaac with its harbour nestling in the folds of the steep cliffs between Rock and Tintagel.
The area around Port Isaac is designated as being an AONB. Two footpaths lead to the Heritage coast path from the farm. The sandy beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock are within a few minutes’ drive, with a ferry from Rock to Padstow, where bikes may be hired for a ride along the Camel Trail to the market town of Wadebridge which is 9 miles by road.
Visit the picturesque village of Tintagel which is steeped in history about its legendary castle, said to have belonged to King Arthur, with Merlin’s caves in the coves below. The quaint fishing village of Boscastle with its picturesque harbour and Bodmin Moor is easily accessible.

Our fourth visit to Trewetha Farm cottages and we still enjoy the relaxed surroundings, the beautiful views and being so near to a wealth of interesting places.

I booked the lodge for a weekend for my daughter and partner and my husband and myself. I took a gamble as sometimes accommodation for 4 sometimes can be cramped for 4 adults. However this was spacious and suited our needs very well. We loved the position of the lodge, great views and space immediately outside for our dogs to enjoy safely. The lodge was well equipped and we didn't find anything we wished was there and wasn't! My only criticism would be that I think £30 extra for two small dogs was a bit steep. I was also disappointed that no-one was around on the morning we left to take the key etc, it would maybe have been nice to have had a quick visit to check all was ok during our stay or at the end.

Spent New Years at dolphin lodge for a much needed post christmas break! The whole ambience from arrival to departure was perfect, the lodges are located a two minute drive from port issac & overlook port gavern which was a fab view to wake up to. The outside area of the lodges of which are there are 6 of are well kept and would be lovely for the Summer period as all lodges have a little outside area for the specific lodge you are staying in with patio doors leading onto a small patio with a bench to enjoy the views from, there was a couple of lamas at the back field which was a nice touch along with some chickens to add to the atmosphere. If your looking for a chilled out break with plenty on your doorstep this location is great as you have the option to stay in or explore the surrounding areas. Facilities are clean, all necessities are provided such as dishwasher fridge cooker etc, bathroom nice but no bath, bed comfy enough pillows provided and much storage which was nice. Wifi code is available small tips for your stay: We took our laptop - worth taking to maybe watch a film on as tv is quite small & board game would be an idea. Overall highly rated our time there lodge was lovely and warm nice and cozy after chilling winter walks!

It can get a bit windy so take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!
