Enjoying spectacular views over Port Isaac Bay and surrounding countryside, these six timber lodges are furnished and equipped to a very comfortable standard providing excellent all year round holiday accommodation.
Located next to the owner’s 18th century farmhouse adjoining a 4-acre smallholding with farm animals, situated just under a mile from the unspoilt historic fishing village of Port Isaac with its harbour nestling in the folds of the steep cliffs between Rock and Tintagel.
The area around Port Isaac is designated as being an AONB. Two footpaths lead to the Heritage coast path from the farm. The sandy beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock are within a few minutes’ drive, with a ferry from Rock to Padstow, where bikes may be hired for a ride along the Camel Trail to the market town of Wadebridge which is 9 miles by road.
Visit the picturesque village of Tintagel which is steeped in history about its legendary castle, said to have belonged to King Arthur, with Merlin’s caves in the coves below. The quaint fishing village of Boscastle with its picturesque harbour and Bodmin Moor is easily accessible.
The area offers excellent golf courses, horseriding fishing and watersports. Shop and pub 1 mile.

It is a beautiful setting, with friendly helpful owners, when the weather is fine it would be idyllic, however we arrived in a down pour which highlighted a couple of small things that perhaps would help. A boot rack by the door and somewhere to put wet clothes. Great entertainment watching the greediest chicken and the ducks bathing in a muddy puddle. Would be good to have some better information re local area, Ie.walks, small maps, where we could get take away, local entertainment and possibly churches nearby.

Great Lodge Warm in winter , clean and quiet Only comment, outside of the owners ability In the winter its difficult to walk down to Port Isaac , due to unpaved roads , not a major issue as you can drive , but the coastal path in the wet is not manageable

We had kids 7&8 and they loved it as did we.... The animals were fab, the lawn out the front was my 7 year old's saviour, he was out there playing safely whenever he could and met lovely new friends. Just a short walk from Port Isaac (uphill on the way back though!) and central to other beautiful places such as Padstow, Le Roc etc Definitely recommend :)

Location and views were excellent however very disappointed by the lodge. It was dirty , cups were chipped and everything had to be cleaned before use. Fuse constantly tripping if kettle or shower was used. Lighting didn't work in bedrooms. Would not stay here again because of this.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. We are pleased you enjoyed our wonderful views and the location. Here at Trewetha Farm we make a lot of effort to make sure our lodges are cleaned to a high standard and we are very surprised you found the lodge dirty. We would have been grateful if you had mentioned your concerns on the many times we met, as you know we live on site and are always available should have any problems. You reported a problem with the cooker tripping out, we immediately responded and tested the cooker and found no fault. It is only now we learn that the kettle was causing the RCD to trip. We have replaced the kettle and everything works fine. We have also renewed the bulb in the bedside light, all other lights work perfectly. The 2 coffee cups with small chips have been replaced. We always keep a stock of replacements at the main house.
