The cottage was excellent. Warm and cosy. The facilities were more than adequate. The location was perfect for the quiet getaway we wanted. There are beautiful walks nearby and restaurants aplenty within a short car journey. We hope to return again soon.

Brilliant cottage. Only a purely personal opinion, because we live in the country with far reaching views, if we had come in the summer and we would have wanted to sit outside and looked at views. However for an autumn break it was excellent, warm, cosy and welcoming. I would book it again for an autumn or winter break, which I am already thinking about. I do know the area and was not surprised that you were enclosed.

Secluded , quiet location- semi-detached cottage on steep hill with steps going down to front door. Kitchen equipment comprehensive. Glad of 3 toilets in accommodation. No mobile phone access in cottage but guests could use the landline and put money into the honesty tin. Be aware of low ceiling in living room. The parking bay is not large so it would be restricted to 2 normal size saloon vehicles. The cottage can accommodate 6 people but there is only a 3 seater couch and 1 armchair. No clothes hanging facility in two of the bedrooms and only a mini/half size one in the double bedroom. Thank you for welcome scones and cream.

Overall the Cottage was perfect for our requirements but, unfortunately, after the first night we found we had to wash all the bedding, including the mattress protectors, because of the stale unpleasant smell - we really felt the bedding had not been changed from previous occupants. Once we had done this we were very happy with everything. We also had to cut back the bushes on both sides of the steps leading down to the front door to make it easier to deal with the steps and prevent getting wet from the bushes. We have commented on the bedding in case this was just an oversight on the part of the cleaners and, hopefully, will not happen again.

We loved it. Rural location with a peaceful cove just down the hill which had a cafe. The local pub was very close, attractive and served good food. The cottage is spacious, well thought out, tasteful and has everything you need.

Very comfortable and beautifully furnished house. We hade all we wished for. We very much enjoyed our stay here, especially as it was located near to the costal path so we could walk from there.
