The photos were really out of date of the complex. Wasn't that clean on arrival. One towel per person for all week. Pool quite dirty. Shower wasn't good very dirty.

Property was clean but smelt, and probably because dogs are allowed to stay. Upstairs was great, showers great. Downstairs needs updating. Chairs were old and I thought the washer was going to take flight, it was so noisy. Pool was a great addition, daughter loved it. Sofa needs replacing. Considering all it was OK but I never go back to the same place twice anyway.

We had a great relaxing stay here with the dogs... good facilities, everything you need is provided and more... The jacuzzi/hot tub is an added bonus.

Great location for visiting mines, beaches, headlands, towns, harbours pubs. Pool jacuzzi and sauna on site excellent. Great accommodation, plenty room, clean, modern and with all you need for self catering. Rural quiet location. Ample parking near to cottage, we would go again.

The bed in the back room is not good at all - it is not comfortable and my wife did not get one night where she slept well. A pity and please do something for future guests,

We enjoyed our stay at Penpoll. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We found a sandy beach called Carne Bay within an hour's drive where we could walk our dog. We had to navigate some tight country lanes to get to it but once there it was ideal for dog walking and having a stroll along the sandy beach. Falmouth was also within driving distance. The swimming pool and games room gave us something to do when the sun came out or when it rained. In terms of value for money it was expensive compared to a farmhouse we stayed in France last summer where we paid the equivalent for two weeks stay.
