We wanted a peaceful location and that's what we got. It is an absolutely lovely setting and cottage but you will need to drive. We had a wonderful holiday at the barn and we would certainly consider going back there again. Perhaps some private outside space would benefit the property further if the owners are looking to enhance their rental. The cookery school nearby is fantastic! You can walk there too! Owners are unintrusive and friendly.

Nicky and Graham have been wonderful hosts - just living in the house next by. The cottage was nicely designed and offered more than we've expected! The location is a bit way off, but perfect to plan day trips to all Cornish sights (whatever direction you want to go, it's not more than 1 1/2 hours drive to Land's End or to Bodmin). Roseland Peninsula is still a kind of hidden secret, therefor we enjoyed to stay at The Long Barn - however, if you're seeking for a perfect place with access to the beach, this might be the wrong choice.

We had a great holiday at the long barn and with baby's first holiday it's was truly memorable. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back! The dog loved it too

Excellent location for those looking for peace and quiet. Not far from the bigger towns and local pub a few mins away. Barn is well presented and spacious and the 2 acre paddock to walk the dog is amazing !
