Lovely place, well equipped. Sofa is very low but one acclimatises very quickly. Needs a bigger mirror in the bedroom for ladies. Nice village, very good pub food and activities going on. Plenty to visit nearby - the reservoir on the way to Princeton has splendid walks.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the space. It was 'off the beaten track' and therefore very quiet. Loved having a good range of saucepans, utensils etc in the kitchen, use of dishwasher and washing machine was useful too. Bed comfy and good shower.

the cottage was excellent value for money in a lovely village and area. the bed however was very uncomfortable. the bed slats were sunk with one broken and the mattress very soft and sagging. this was a shame as there was no issue with anything else.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are really pleased that you enjoyed the Cottage apart from the bed issue. The cleaner had turned the mattress and unfortunately, unbeknown to the cleaner, it is a no turn mattress. My husband has since turned the mattress back over and found that the slat had come loose, it wasn’t broken. Should you have contacted us during your stay, we could have easily rectified this issue.
