the house was absolutely beautiful all equipment in the house was top spec from the beds to the cutlery. views well they where amazing laid in bed watching the boats go in and out the harbour was like been on another planet . but like everything there was a couple of downfalls spiders cobwebs in several places that had been there a while they where huge ,and I do think that the access road should be described better luckily we where all fit enough to climb the hill each day as having a 3 month old car the hill was a no go we paid to leave it on the harbour side which wasn't that cheap for 2 weeks all in all we had a great time in tregolva and would consider staying again

Tregolva is a beautiful large house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with stunning views over Looe. It's got parking for two cars easily, three small ones with manoeuvring. The road up to the cottage is steep and narrow with a bit of a bend and a chicane. It's tricky but do-able. I wouldn't like to do it in anything other than dry conditions. It did put us off going out in the car while we were there. There are also about 25 steps down to the cottage from the parking. It was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the woodburner. Wifi was very reliable. I would have liked a washing line (we had a baby with us). Travel cot and high chair provided. Take a mattress for the cot. Looe is lovely. A quay, a beach, nice shops and cafés and pubs. We went sea shanty singing in The Jolly Sailor. We did a not very successful fishing trip! A lovely holiday.

The view is simply breathtaking and we love staying there. The drive is a bit hairy but ok once you get use to it. Overall a great place to stay.

The view from this property is incredible and the finish fantastic. I'd recommend looking at the hill on google maps before you go, it is steep, with a bend and a pinch point but if you're confident driving hills it will be fine. It is worth mentioning there is a huge car park in Looe within easy walking distance of the property which takes away all concern about tackling the hill !!!! Great house, nice touches and a great time watching the fishermen coming in every night !!!

Lovely holiday everyone really enjoyed it. Blinds in the lounge could have come in handy when the sun was shining directly in but the view was amazing

excellent views, good location, nice and clean house. Don,t let the steep hill at the back of the house put you off its easy to drive up. Let your car do the the work.

Loved it. Great location, fabulous views, good access to everything including coastal path - didn't need to use the car for the week. Walking the steep hill up Darloe Lane several times a day has been good exercise for our lungs and legs! Enjoyed Looe's harbour/pubs/walks/restaurants etc. Tregolva is a great spot to enjoy on a rainy/cold day - warmth & view, great for reading etc. We also found it really well equipped. Lighting on back steps is a bit tricky - motion activated can go off half way down back steps, and path a bit slippy at the bottom of steps, so some caution required.

It was a beautiful location and very comfortable. HOWEVER, the drive is too steep in cold, Autumnal weather and we lost traction and damaged our car. A neighbour was extremely kind and helped us out.....he is frustrated that so many cars are getting damaged because not enough is mentioned about the extent of the gradient. We are experienced drivers but the brakes failed us because of the damp conditions. DO NOT attempt unless you have a 4 wheel drive.
