We had the perfect stay at Trecarian will certainly be returning again soon. My wife and I took our 16 month old with us to Cornwall and could not have been happier. The cottage is perfect for two couples, or a small family. The living area is so cosy with a log burner and plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely separate dinning area, and also sofa's to relax after long walks. There is a little patio and a picturesque garden off the kitchen/dinning area. The bathroom has a bath and shower which was good for us. Upstairs the bed is incredibly comfy and the views from the master bedroom are lovely. There is also a twin room next door. The cottage is located a short drive from Port Isaac and its helpful having a pub that serves food and great drinks only 100m away. There are some lovely walks from the cottage and we walked to Port Isaac and Port Gaverne. The cottage is also tastefully decorated with loads of old mining lamps and old picture's showing the rich history of the cottage and area. It has obviously been recently updated and the place was very clean and everything in perfect working order. All in all we had the best time and cant wait to return....would highly recommend!

A very lovingly appointed, clean and comfortable cottage with a personal touch achieved by the nautical theme of many of the ornaments and the many wall decorations. The various rooms are spacious enough to meet the requirements of four adults, even if the furniture is somewhat dated. The big plus points are the bright and attractive conservatory and the small raised level garden at the rear which is ideal for enjoying a cup of tea whilst taking in the fresh air.

This cottage is lovely and brilliantly located for Port Isaac, Port Gaverne, Padstow and many other beautiful places. Great garden for dogs, completely enclosed and a real suntrap. Plenty of parking, a few doors away from a quiet pub and about 5 or 10 mins away from a chippy and supermarket in Port Isaac. Cottage is very cute and had everything we needed.

Excellent cottage. Everything there you could need. Even 4 wet suits! The enclosed garden and patio area were great for the dog. And wifi kept the kids happy. 2 mile walk to the picturesque beach at Port Gaverne. When the sea is out there are rock pools and caves to explore. We even saw Doc Martin being filmed on the beach. The path there is through fields, a wood and along a stream. Quite a pull through the last fields on the way home mind. Great dog friendly pub just 50 meters away. A couple of nagative points. 1. there are not actually 2 assigned parking spaces. You park on the shared pub car park. This was to capacity a few evenings but spaces appeared as people left the pub later on. 2. Downstairs smelt slightly musty at times.
