Had a brilliant week staying in this 16th century cottage - with 21st century comfort! Good location for coastal and marshland walks and discovering East Suffolk. Helpful and friendly owners.

Very pretty cottage, which was great to return to after our days out. The cottage is remote which is exactly what we were looking for although the owners live in the attached cottage and are very friendly and welcoming. Treacle Cottage has been very nicely decorated and we found the various rooms a little bit quirky in a lovely way. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit, many thanks.

Wonderful cottage in very peaceful surroundings. Well fitted out with everything you need for a few days or weeks away. Lovely hosts and very nice cake as well!

Cottage is a real gem, quirky and oozing character. Very clean and very well equipped and accessible to Suffolk's treats. Hosts are exceptional - warm, welcoming and the welcome package a treat (the homemade cakes were very well received!). Would definitely recommend this delightful historic cottage.

Had a great week at Treacle Cottage., we enjoyed the remoteness and the quiet and appreciated the homemade cakes on arrival, the kids games in the garden, the barbecue and the attentiveness and kindness of the owners Roy and Maureen. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and the attention to detail is wonderful. The only comment I would make is that the stairs are very steep and uneven as one might expect in an old building and this caused my 77 year old mother a few difficulties. I think this should be highlighted in the particulars.
