This is a lovely well equipped and spacious house in a peaceful location. However, for our group the location was a bit too remote - the best route to and from the house is left towards MineHead so would recommend visitors ignore Satnav and Agents directions ! We enjoyed our week very much but the lack of a contiguous garden was a negative for us with small children. Although the minor road outside is infrequently used some of the local residents travel quite fast and there is a lack of vision to the left (towards Minehead) when crossing the road to the parking spaces or the detached garden. There is an idyllic "secret garden" up the road but again it was difficult for our party ( ages 5-96) to use. I have no doubt this would be the perfect getaway for many people but unfortunately it didn't quite do it for us. The ground floor bathroom may be difficult for some groups to use as it gives access to the main bedroom. I never post family pictures on social media

Fabulous cottage in a great location and more than enough space for our party of four couples with kids. Only drawback is the lack of mobile signal which depending on location in the cottage and what network you are in varies. Would definitely go again. Try and find the second garden as we found it on the last day and it has a summer house!

My family enjoy the location, the woods and surrounding area. This was our fifth visit and will almost certainly return. The cottage is fine for our needs with a large dining area and lounge. It would be helpful though to have decent bolts or locks on the toilet/bathroom doors.

Lovely cottage with plenty of room. As 6 adults we liked the lounge which is large and comfortable, dining room and kitchen are a good size, although immediate garden and barbecue area is small we still enjoyed our stay

Lovely cottage with plenty of space for ten people to dine and relax afterwards in the lounge. Everything you need is included. Only negative was the location of the downstairs bathroom, you had to walk through it to get to the bedroom and there were no locks on the door. I would still stay there again tho.
