Trafalgar Court is a dominant landmark, standing proudly on cliff top highpoint, overlooking the seaside resort of Mundesley with commanding views over the village and along the coast with views as far as the lighthouse and church at Happisburgh. Mundesley beach is an incredibly long and lovely stretched out beach on the east corner of the North Norfolk Coast. Having colourful beach huts and shallow rock pools it is an ideal playground for children of all ages, and is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months and also offers great year-round sea fishing. Mundesley has not lost its old-world charm with thatched roofs, stone walls and many quaint and charming cottages, and it is perfect for those seeking a traditional seaside holiday, scenic walks and family friendly activities.
This detached building was built in 1867 as an imposing fashionable Victorian cliff top hotel to offer luxury accommodation to the Victorian traveller. During the Second World War, like most hotels along this part of the coast, the hotel was commandeered for military use and then at the end of the war, it was returned to private use. Commanding in size, guests are greeted by its magnificent reception with large skylight set over the building’s central grand staircase (lift is available). Each apartment has been refurbished to offer spacious light and bright holiday apartments set over three floors. Set within fenced private landscaped grounds, with direct access onto the path that leads down to the sandy beach below. The village centre of Mundesley is just a 10-minute walk, offering shops, cafés, post office, three pubs, a 9-hole golf course and the Maritime Museum, believed to be one of the smallest museums in England. These apartments are a great starting point for country walks and cycle rides, with plenty of footpaths and circular routes available from the doorstep. Close by is Southrepps Common, an important area for wildlife with woodland and wild flowers. Visit Stow Mill, a flour mill built in the 1820s which was a working mill up to 1930, open to visitors who can climb ladders to the upper area of the mill, where you can still see the dust floors. The traditional seaside resort of Cromer with its pier and promenade is just 7 miles away. Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 16 miles away and has daily boat hire and river trips available, along with riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. City of Norwich is 20 miles and is perfect for visiting the cathedral, theatre, castle museum, market square, restaurants and cafés. The market town of North Walsham, 5 miles, is great for shops, supermarkets, sports centre with indoor leisure swimming pool, cafés and pubs. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

Wood fired pizzeria available on-site, 3 days a week, open until 5pm (shared with other properties on-site, seasonal only). 1 pet welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. No smoking.
