Really enjoyed our stay at 'Tor View. We felt really at home. The location, near the fields with the cows in and the wonderful view of the Tor was really beautiful. Everything was very good.

We had a lovely stay and wish we had been staying for longer. Only spoke to the owners via phone but they are very friendly and we appreciated the Welcome Pack. However, owners are local so are nearby if needed. The property is outstanding, spacious and very clean and is a real home from home. Washing machine, big fridge freezer, huge TV, WIFI etc and gas central heating which we could control. The views in the conservatory of Glastonbury Tor are fabulous. We enjoyed the view whilst having our morning coffee / breakfast and were fortunate enough to see a stunning sunrise. We also enjoyed watching the cows and the horse in the field opposite the property. Secure garden which we appreciated as we had our dog with us. Although property is in a residential area it was very quiet and there is a drive / parking directly outside the property. Would not hesitate to stay again the only issue we have is finding dates that work for us in 2017 so may have to wait longer than we would like to. Plenty of supermarkets nearby within a 5 minute driving distance i.e. Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s.

An excellent home from home, only comments would be the curtains are quite thin in the back bedroom and the reading lights could be brighter, but everything else was perfect. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and the location was ideal for visiting many local attractions.

It is a comfortable cottage with everything you could need. Comfortable beds and lots of soft towels. A lovely secure garden for our little houdini dog. The views of the Tor from the house and garden are amazing at any time of the day and evening. It is well situated for exploring Devon and Exmoor as well as Somerset. A surprising day in the Quantock Hills with its wild horses.

We stayed here to attend my father's birthday celebrations locally. The facilities were perfect with plenty of space for us all to have breakfast and get ready for the festivities. The hot water tank was more than adequate to cope with four back to back showers. Beautiful views across to Glastonbury Tor.

A delightfully comfortable and homely base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings. Very poor lighting in front bedroom; unable to read in bed. The only mirror in front bedroom was too high.

Tor View is a lovely cottage, comfortable, well equipped, clean and nicely furnished. The owners are helpful and very considerate. The area is gorgeous, the view exceptional and location perfect. My only reason for not returning would be that I found the noise level within the cottage too high, in that I could hear a lot from the neighbours, including drawers being opened and closed whilst I was in bed, which drove me 'crackers'. This may not be the case for others, as I do suffer a sleep disorder, and have other health issues that contribute to difficulty sleeping.

We had a short break in this cottage and found it's location very convenient. Good to have off-road parking and there was a lovely view of the Tor from the conservatory. We visited in low season and the weather was cold and wet; the conservatory is the dining room and we needed to put the heater on well in advance to be able to eat in there - we should have taken big jumpers! Very large TV, plenty of lounge seating, signs all over the place and we never met the owners. The shower is a bath mixer tap type and a little difficult to use, especially as the boiler is a combi, but we managed. Would recommend this cottage for a short break, particularly in good weather as the garden looked lovely. Within walking distance of Clarks Village.
