Cosy cottage, the Aga is a lovely touch. Ideal for drying out wet clothes at the end of the day! Pub directly opposite and wifi works well.

The cottage itself was lovely, a bit too warm with the Aga on 24/7 but we did staying there. Didn't like the fact the road was so close to the gate and this was a bit scary with our dogs, also crossing the road with belongings was a bit of a pain! Only other thing was the bannister was wobbly and one of the stairs has a hole in it which was quite scary sometimes as the stairs are so steep. The only reason we wouldn't go back is that we tend to try different places each holiday, so it is not a reflection on the cottage as such!

A great little cottage for two. Lovely pub across the road serving great food. A short drive to the Lakes. Cottage was warm and welcoming.

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. We especially loved the aga, the nearby walks & the peaceful/idyllic setting. The fire was an added bonus, would have given it a 10 overall if shower had worked properly. Would def come again!
