We had a lovely stay at Tickety Boo, staying for the last week of the school holidays. The bungalow is lovely; clean, very well equipped and welcoming. It is in a good, quiet location but a little bit further from the beach than we originally thought. The walk along the Tarka trail was a little longer than advertised but we may not have taken the correct route - a local walking map would have been useful in the accommodation. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this property. The only negatives were the bedrooms which would definitely benefit from a little update. There was a smell of damp at that end of the bungalow which could do with addressing, noticed especially when the doors are closed. The beds were also rather uncomfortable with noisy springs on any movement.

Absolutely loved it -really nice place, everything in very good condition. The rooms were cowmfortable and homely, pleasant garden and a nice spacious living room with comfortable chairs and settee. All perfect for4 adults and two grandchildren (age 2 and 4).One day was a bit cold and rainy -even though it was summer but central heating worked well when unexpectedly needed. Nice bonus was the public footpath from just outside the bungalow to Woollacombe which avoided walking on the road (takes about half an hour).

We found the bungalow clean and all facilities where fine. Shame the weather wasn't better so as to make more use of the garden. And the new garden chairs were good , we even found them more comfortable to use in doors, as we had 2 people who had difficulty getting out of the chairs in the dining area and the chairs had arms to help. Bungalow was very spacious and very homely. Certainly would always recommend anyone to stay there. The main problem we found was the refuse collection, with pickup on various days for food , general, paper etc not made very clear on collection days.
