We really enjoyed our stay, the location and views from the house were lovely. We walked to the lake which is just across the road most days. The house was really clean and very well equipped and a short drive to the local pub/restaurants. We will be returning again, thank you Mary.

A very enjoyable stay, and we were made most welcome and all our needs attended to by Mary, the owner, who lived next door. The property itself was spacious and well-equipped. The location of the property was convenient for visiting the local attractions, e.g. Galway City, Connemara, The Burren.

We chose this cottage as we found it the perfect location for our hobby of Geocaching. It allowed us to explore all round the area without any difficulty. As well as geocaching we did some sightseeing and particularly enjoyed our visit to Galway Cathedral. The owner of the cottage, Mary was very nice and helpful, as was her brother John. We had a really nice holiday and really enjoyed the delicious home baked cake that Mary brought us.

This is a well furbished home but it is the ladies home not a holiday cottage. The dogs are kept in a pen outside and no items left in the Friday for holiday guest such as bread eggs and general items you would expect This definitely needs a swimming pool and for the dogs to be allowed out to make it a more friendly place for the whole family

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. In response, I would like to say that an outdoor swimming pool is not usually required in the west of Ireland, but we’re all happy to get some beautiful sunshine, as for my dogs, they usually out when visitors are touring during the day but are in the pen when guests are home as we all share the outdoor area, but get walked frequently and visit the nearby Corrib for a dip.

Great stay in this beautiful and well equipped property. The owner was lovely and incredibly welcoming and the property was spotless. The location was great for us as we bought a kayak and were able to use the access to the lake and we wanted to explore Galway city. It is quite a drive up to Connemara though if that's what you're going for. Would definitely stay here again.

An absolutely gorgeous, modern cottage which is immaculately clean. Huge beds with loads of space throughout the cottage, log burner made the cottage extra cosy at night. Mary is lovely, and was a great help on anything we needed. Cottage is at the end of winding track but only a short drive into Moycullen (local village with pubs and shops) or a 20 minute drive into Galway centre. We will defiantly be coming back to this cottage in the future.

We had a brilliant 4 day winter stay . The property is at the end of winding track but the arriving is certainly worth the drive . A very attentive host to which nothing was too much trouble and the property was very clean and tidy with a large kitchen and dinning area . I would certainly like to revisit in the summer months .
