My stay at Thrift Cottage was absolutely fabulous. Beautiful location with lots of places to visit. I would certainly go back again. I felt like I had stepped back in time when I first walked in. The kitchen was very modern but the rest was so authentic. I loved the ambience of the whole place. Fantastic.

Thrift cottage is quaint. It is old. I do think the price we paid for the week is inflated. We arrived and there wasn't even any toilet paper on the roll. There were plenty of cleaning products but nothing else. For the price paid a welcome pack could have been provided.

A charming cottage which we thoroughly enjoyed. Easy access to Cotswold villages and eating establishments. It would be nice to have a mirror in the twin room and an explanation in the instruction folder of how to dispose of food waste. Would definitely stay in this cottage again recommend it to friends. When information was required we found the cottage owner to be very helpful.

Lovely Character thatched cottage, always wanted to stay in one! Very central to places that we wanted to visit so ideal for us. The garden was very private and secluded.

Picturesque and nicely fitted out thatched holiday cottage. The cottage was very clean, and the small garden made a nice play area for young children. The living room is sufficiently large and comfortable for small children to play happily on a rainy day. It's in a good location for many attractions in the Cotswolds and beyond, and even as far as South Wales (very easy to get to the M5 at Tewkesbury). The village is peaceful and the neighbours were friendly and helpful. A minor let-down was the crockery and cutlery, which needed to be put through the dishwasher twice before it was suitable to be used (we had to buy our own dishwasher tablets). There was a more serious problem on our arrival because the owner had not made provision for us to receive the keys and continued to be un-contactable by phone. Overall we have fond memories of a lovely holiday at Thrift Cottage, and I would definitely recommend it. However we would suggest prospective guests to call the booking agent first and have them speak with the owner directly to confirm how you will get the keys should you wish to stay

Thrift Cottage was a beautifully welcoming cottage, warm as you entered and had wonderful additional features to make an enjoyable break. Only two slight negatives that I would say to the owner but not anything to deter anyone from having a wonderful weekend away.
