The Three Horseshoes is a beautifully converted blacksmith's workshop. The accommodation has been well designed, and all fittings installed are to a very high standard. The Clearview wood burner is a delight and works really well, though the house is so well insulated we didn't need to use it very much. There are low exposed beams upstairs that would mean duck or grouse for averagely tall guests. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, and they were extremely welcoming and helpful. There is so much to do and see in the local area that we could have spent another week there with ease. We enjoyed our stay very much indeed.

We all really enjoyed our stay at the Three Horseshoes Cottage and will be back one day, as we certainly enjoyed the location, the log fire, feeding the variety of birds in the back garden, to name but a few. Would really recommend staying at the Three Horseshoes Cottage and the owners were lovely people whom are more than happy to accommodate.

The cottage was very warm and had all we needed nice to have a full size fridge freezer and the welcome basket was very thoughtful, the dry room is a great idea and very handy.
