The directions took us straight to the property, the parking space was ideal for unloading our luggage and groceries on a damp misty evening (after availing ourselves of the welcome tray which was very thoughtful). The cottage was very clean, so too the towels and bed linen and the bed was very comfortable. The weather was rather cool on arrival so we investigated the heating and soon the cottage was warm and cosy. We have visited Cornwall annually for over thirty years but have not stayed in this area before, we would not hesitate to stay in this property again. It was pleasant to return there after spending most daylight hours on moor or beach.

This cosy cottage is in a fabulous location with the busy village of Tintagel just minutes down the road. It was equipped with everything we needed and was a comfortable base to come back to after a long day out sightseeing. The tv is not set up to an aerial so no channels are available. This is something that was a little disappointing especially when you want to have an evening in and relax although it was not the be all and end all. The locals are friendly and there is plenty to do. Generally, a lovely holiday!

Very nice flat but when we stayed there it was during the heatwave. But with limited windows to open it would like a suna. We could not leave the front door open as this leads on to the main road which during the week was very busy and very noisy you sometimes could not hear the TV due to the traffic outside and also on the first day arriving our dog ran straight out across the road were so lucky she did not get run over. We booked for six nights but only stayed for five as in the end it was far to warm for comfort.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner We have an identical flat attached to Flat 2 This'n'That. The full time tenant there, (3 years) says that he has never had a problem as he closes his curtains to keep the sun out. The flat is well insulated so it should only be the sun on the large windows that will create the problem. I don't really understand the lack of windows as there are windows to front and rear to give through flow. But if the windows are left open during the day then again the hot air out side will be inside. Windows should only be opened during the evening/night to allow colder air in.

Brilliant little apartment with a few small problems which I am sure will be rectified. Lack of garden could be a problem for dog owners but bed, bowl, towels and a blanket are all provided so furbies are made welcome! I would recommend!
