An excellent location for what we wanted to do; ie Sutton Hoo, Minsmere, Orfordness. Cottage was fine for two. We had everything we needed with a few nice touches. Both ladies were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place. Piano is a bit of honky tonk type but we still loved our stay!

Had everything we needed. The ladies who looked after the place were very welcoming and helpful. It was close to where we wanted to go. Would go back again at a different time of the year.

Lovely dog friendly cottage. Lots of lovely walks in the area. The owners are only next door, so if there is a problem they are easy to find. We didn't have a problem, so didn't see them apart from to say hello on our first day and goodbye on our last. Most places are dog friendly, but steer clear of trying to find somewhere in Saxmundham to eat if you take your dog. The Vulcan at Sizewell served lovely food, as did the Kings Head in Yoxford. The walk from Dunwich beach to Southwold is fantastic (although much longer than the 3 miles we were told - more like 8!) All in all a great week, and will certainly re-book The Woodshed if visiting the area again

Quiet location. Little bit jaded internally with some minor repairs (loose kitchen tap, cooker hood light and bathroom cabinet door) required and a lick of paint but perfectly ok for a short stay. Not much outside space only enough for a car on the front hard standing and no rear garden. Very welcoming owners and everybody in the local area were friendly and helpful when we needed information.

Lovely cottage in an idyllic and friendly village. Some nice touches for the human visitors and their dogs eg. DAB radio, face cloths, cooking oil and salt, dog bowl and bed. However should really be listed as sleeping 3, as the sofa bed was far too small for 2 teenagers. Also would have appreciated a few extra plates, mugs etc as constantly having to wash up the 4 of everything supplied after every meal...not good when supposed to be on holiday! However would go back, but just 2 of us plus dog next time!

Great location and within easy reach of many lovely locations. Literally 30 seconds to a main road to Saxmundham, and a few minutes from the A12. The accommodation was much larger than expected. Had elderly mother with me, and she found it fully accessible. Owners very lovely and were unobtrusive, but available. It would easily satisfy a family of 4.
