This is a lovely cottage finished in rustic charm. The cottage is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. There is a fabulous private hot tub and garden. The cottage is set in a good location for visiting many lovely Devon towns. We visited the Junction Arms in Beaworthy for lunch the food was delicious and extremely well priced with a vast choice on the menu. We will be visiting many times again!

Our stay at this delightful cottage was amazing from start to finish. It is set in beautiful secluded surroundings amongst the lovely Devon countryside but within reach of many tourist destinations by car. The owners are available should you need anything but we did not see them during our stay. The cottage is tastefully and comfortably decorated and everything is provided. Extra luxuries such as the garden hot tub and the freestanding gold bath in the luxurious bedroom added those romantic touches that made this such an idyllic getaway. On arrival we found the owners had even left us a cream tea and some basic groceries. We would recommend this wholeheartedly and will certainly return.

We had a lovely stay at the Wendy house. The cottage itself was beautiful, the decor and furniture were of a high standard and the bed was so comfortable. The bath was amazing and we even got to have a couple of relaxing times in the hot tub despite the rain! Not much locally but if you have a car then you don't need to worry about that, lots of things to do in the surrounding areas within a short drive. We had a nice welcome with the owners leaving us a start off on some essentials, and some fresh cream scones 😀.

A beautifully refurbished cottage in Beaworthy, this provides everything you need if you're looking for a peaceful retreat in comfort and privacy. Complete with a large lounge, ample kitchen and dining area space, a beautiful bedroom with large bath and en-suite shower room, a perfectly sized garden with private hot tub and all the amenities you need, this is a very generous size for 2 people and will make you feel right at home. Being in the heart of the countryside you will need to travel by car if you wish to visit any of the surrounding areas but this is ideal if you're looking for peace and tranquillity.. you'll find it here!

The cottage was all we could ask for and more, the quality of the property was very high. The hot-tub was great and the cream cakes provided as a welcome were very well received. Would love to come back again. A perfect location for either visiting the local area or just lounge around and relax.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in for the week. It also had a private hot tub in the back garden which was fantastic to relax in each day. The owners were lovely and were always saying if you need anything just ask. The cottage was done to a great standard and everything was good quality. It had a lot of character. The kitchen had everything that you need to cook etc. It also had a log fire which was lovely. I would definitely recommend this cottage and will probably stay there again in the future. Thank you for a lovely time.

This was our first visit to Devon and we feel that we couldn't have chosen a more special place to stay. The Wendy House is exceptional both in comfort and interior design. The furnishings, decor and fittings are of high quality and enhance the character of this quaint and charming cottage. The bed is so comfortable and the shower amazing, with lovely soft white towels and bathrobes! This cottage is immaculate and the owners have excelled in making this a fabulous, peaceful place to stay. Lona and Bill are most welcoming and helpful, but not at all intrusive. They certainly helped to make this a most special holiday and we wish them the very best for the future, they deserve it!

After looking for a last minute get away we stumbled across The Wendy House. We are so glad that we did! Lona was really helpful both before and during our stay and communication was excellent. She really went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was beautiful and faultless. It was a real treat to stay somewhere so luxurious. We were looking for somewhere where we could relax and the location (although it means you have to drive to the local amenities and beaches) was perfect. The hot tub was an added bonus! You have created a gorgeous bolt hole and it is clear a lot of time has gone into thinking about the property renovations. We would certainly love to stay here again. Thank you!
