We had a good week at 'The Waves', and enjoyed exploring the far north of Scotland and the Orkney islands. 'The Waves' is a high quality place by the sea, with lovely views across the bay and beyond. Highly recommended.

An excellent holiday in a beautiful, well kept home situated in a very picturesque spot. Mrs Plowman is always helpful and welcoming. Little touches like home-made butterfly cakes, milk in the fridge, teas and coffees make it extra special.

We try to always get "the waves" when visiting family in Wick. It's so convenient and a great base for seeing the sights of Caithness and beyond. The house is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need taken care of. It's always lovely and clean and cosy on arrival.

This cottage is amazing........with beautiful views The owner met us on arrival to explain heating ...hot water etc also made us beautiful cup cakes. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge was very much appreciated. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a lovely relaxing break. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. So much so my parents who were on holiday at a hotel, were so impressed the went home and booked for September. Will definitely book to go back next year........and have looked at available dates.

This was our sixth stay at the waves. Definitely the best accommodation we have ever stayed in, the location is brilliant with fantastic views looking out over the sea. The house is fantastic, immaculate and furnished to the highest standards. Very comfortable and spacious, with the large conservatory being our favorite room.
