Exceptional accommodation, attention to detail in every way. We forgot shampoo, there it was in a little basket. Exceptional view over the bay. If they have your dates available, book whilst you can. Alyson is so helpful and friendly and the location is fantastic.

The Waves is a great place to stay. A well laid out cottage which is exremely well equipped and well looked after. We were made extremely welcome, the cakes and basket of essentials and milk were much appreciated and a nice surprise. If you are looking for a cottage in Wick then this is the place, fabulous views, the seals are a delight to watch, great for walking and site seeing. Would like to thank the owner for making us so welcome and keeping me updated on the Northern Lights:-)

An excellent place to stay far from the madding crowd. Not for the faint hearted when the weather is blowing a storm but still a very beautiful location in a warm and welcoming house.

Absolutely loved this house which is actually much bigger than photos suggest. The sun room is the best room in the house we loved sitting in there looking out to sea. Lots of lovely touches like home baking, welcome basket as well as a small "in case you forgot" items. Lovely artist next door which is a must to drop in. Had a great trip up to the Orkney islands from John o'groats which was excellent. Highly recommend a+++
