Common Moor is an area of Bodmin Moor bounded by the River Fowey, with beautiful riverside and woodland walks at Golitha Falls, to the west. To the north is pre-historic moorland with stone circles, burial stones, stone age settlements and 18th- and 19th-century tin mining buildings. Enjoy walking, fishing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing at nearby Siblyback Lake. Both the rugged north and south coasts with their golden beaches are easily reached, as are the Eden Project and many NT properties. Liskeard, 5 miles, has shops, pub, restaurants and leisure centre. The property is situated in the small, quiet and peaceful hamlet of Common Moor and offers a very good standard of holiday accommodation with its own private gardens and offers the ideal resting place for visting Cornwall. The accommodation is excellent, the kitchen is missing a few items if you want to cook full meals, but not a complaint. The garden is good if you have dogs but beware of the pond in the top left hand side as one of our dogs thought it was grass..... The only complaint is there is no internet or phone signal at the cottage so you will have to research the area prior to arriving unless you want to travel to the local village to get a signal.

even thou the owners are lovely people, we found this cottage had a pretty garden if you like stones, this was not suitable for our dog,we should have read reviews before booking, reports about the parking, which caused damage to our car, and we found the furniture was not up to standards you would like when renting a place to stay for a week, I dont feel this cottage is advertised correctly,

Lovely cosy cottage and the owners are delightful and very welcoming, always happy to give local info and yet they leave you alone to enjoy your break, would I go back? In a heartbeat, I could have stayed longer

Nice base to come back to after a day out. Comfortable and enough space for two people and pets alike.
