We had a great stay at this cottage. The cottage is extremely cosy and comfortable, the fire was brilliant. Cottage has everything you need. Stairs in the cottage are quite steep. Garden was very handy for our dog. It is right next to the sea and in a great location.

Such a cozy cottage. Best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in, home from home. Very thoughtful welcome of mince pies and fresh milk, and a huge basket of logs for the fire, wonderful. Thankyou . We had a blissful time. Paws up from our three dogs too .

A homely cottage in an excellent location. The cottage is literally 20 seconds from the beach. Although the dog friendly bit during May - September is a few minutes walk. The cottage is an old building that is decorated in a cottage way. The facilities are good and everything has been considered. The décor in some parts could do with an update and the bathroom/shower especially could do with upgrading some time soon. The kitchen is a little cluttered and a little less furniture may make that part a little more usable. The rear garden is enclosed and a nice sun trap. The fences are high enough to keep most dogs in, but if you have determined dogs, they could probably jump the fences. At the front is an enclosed courtyard with bike store opposite the front door. Despite being shared, this is an enclosed area, so wandering dogs wont necessarily get very far. The lounge has a selection of videos and DVDs, books and games.

The perfect cottage for dog owners , a totally enclosed rear garden with a lawn and the beach just outside the front door. The owner couldn't be more helpful with home made bread plus biscuits awaiting for us on arrival . The cottage has absolutely everything you could need with tea , coffee , milk etc all provided plus binoculars to look at the passing ships from the upstairs bedroom window. . The Bacton beach must be one of the best kept secrets with certain sections completely stone free . Dogs are banned on one section during the summer months and the pathways have signs indicating dogs must be kept on leads not exceeding 1.8 metres. Most people tended to ignore this although it is enforced as a council employee advised me when I let my dog off. We would definitely go back .
