    Lovely cottage , with everything we needed. Very spacious and comfortable. Loved the garden, watching the birds. Only downside, - main road, but only a minor detail. Would like to return.

    Very comfortable, lovely views, very relaxing holiday. Well placed for seeing the Lakes and Yorkshire too.

    The Waiting Room has the most beautiful views of a well kept garden, farm land dotted with sheep and hills. The accommodation is exceptional and well designed. Had a wonderful week exploring the surrounding areas and visiting the Lakes. All in all EXCELLLENT.

    The only 'downside' was the nearby A685 road. Not so much the noise but the speed at which the traffic races along. Otherwise the Waiting Room is perfect amid beautiful countryside.

    A great place to base yourself to have access to very different environments that are never a long way away. The Waiting rooms were very comfy and welcomed you home each evening. the road is beside it but gave us no problems at all. Overall, a good place to be, and thanks to the owners.
