The View was a fantastic property. There were 7 of us in our party and there was more than enough space to accommodate us all. It lives up to its name and has uninterrupted views across to Bamburgh Castle. The nearest shop, pub and cafe are all just over a mile away at Beadnell along a busy road and so our party did have to use cars to get anywhere but the peaceful location made up for that

Lovely cottage with lots of space. Sofa in the living room does need updating, but in general the cottage was very well stocked with all the essentials. Will be going back.

This was a return visit having holidayed in this property lat year. Stunning high standard property with stunning views in a beautiful area of the country. We live staying at The View and the only reason we haven't booked it again for next year is the steep hike in the rental price for the same week we had this year. Definitely a fantastic 5* property.

We had the wow factor when we walked through into the kitchen and throughout the rest of the property. The owners need to provide a washing line, a party including 3 kids would put on the heating to dry clothes on the radiators. The bathrooms upstairs need a light above the mirror to aid shaving and make up. The flagging for car parking should be extended. To make the best of the 'View' two deck chairs would have been nice in the bedroom. We would like to return but the price for the same week in 2017 has gone up £400 ,nearly a 50% hike, which in our opinion is too much for our family. Somebody moved the blue bin on Wednesday and returned it on Thursday but it had not been emptied. Both bins were full upon leaving. Therefore two sets of bins would be helpful. I did not see an instruction booklet for the washing machine. A 'snag' list is required. For entering comments such as " more batteries required" . A small television would be nice in the small snug. We used it for the kids. Overall the cottage far exceeded our expectations and with good weather we had a wonderful break at calving time in the field opposite.

Lovely house, garden excellent for our dog. The kitchen was lovely, but could have done with some new fry pans and trays. Our only niggle was the lounge furniture was very low and not terribly comfortable. My mother struggled getting up. Beds were lovely and comfy.
