Beautifully presented and set on a working farm with idyllic countryside views to enjoy, this property is brilliant for a romantic getaway.

Situated in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside

These two holiday properties (refs 28775, 28776) offer contemporary accommodation throughout. Situated on the owner’s working farm, The Tractor Shed and The Stables are two barn conversions surrounded by open fields, which both boast far-reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. These holiday properties are located close to the charming hillside village of Bourton-on-the-Hill and are situated less than two miles from the popular market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The village is fortunate to have Batsford Estate and Arboretum close by and here you can enjoy a walk around the beautiful grounds any time of the year. From Easter to November there is a very good tea room and the Cotswold Falconry Centre is open. In the village is Bourton House with its 16th century Tythe Barn, which opens its gardens to the public weekly throughout the summer months. The heart of England Way passes through the village and along with other footpaths, provides a pleasurable way to see the countryside around this pleasant area. The village has one pub which serves wonderful food. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Ground floor: Living room with tiled floor/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 1 double (5ft) bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Both properties: Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Courtyard with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Welcome pack. No smoking.

A stunning cottage in a quiet location that was still central for many places. Had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday in the Cotswolds.

Had a great short break here. The location is excellent for exploring the Cotswolds but the farm was very quiet and peaceful. The facilities were very good, although I had some problems with the shower (the water temperature was very erratic and at times became potentially dangerously hot). The kitchen had full facilities which some smaller properties sometimes lack (freezer, oven).

Very nice cottage ideally suited for walks on the Monarch's Way and Heart of England Way. Loads to do in the immediate area. A few more little touches would have been nice, like some DVDs.

Just 15mins walk from moreton in marsh with its wonderful shops and restaurants. The cottage is ideal for the two of us and our dog, planning a third visit next year.

The Farmer's wife was very helpful regarding arrivel arrangements, and there was a nice welcome pack of food and wine awaiting us. The cottage was immaculately clean, which is of paramount importance. We found it warm and cosy, with plenty of hot water. The views across the open fields were attractive. We enjoyed trying to get a photo of the pheasants who were always tantalisingly ahead of us on the farm road. The cottage is well placed to walk into either Moreton in Marsh or Bourton on the Hill for meals, and very central for exploring the northern Cotswold towns. A brief guide to operating the heating/TV/etc in the cottage would be a useful addition.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location. Enjoyed lots of walks in the surrounding area, explored the nearby villages and spent a day in Stratford upon Avon. Cottage is cosy with plenty of towels and storage space, there are no toiletries or larder basics though. We loved the big windows and sunlight flooding through in the mornings. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Very accommodating hosts - we arrived quite late at night and it wasn't a problem. Had everything we needed and more - yummy welcome hamper!! Perfect location for exploring - bourton on the water, the slaughters, Broadway etc. during the day and then coming back to a great bath and local food. We really didn't want to leave this comfy, peaceful and relaxing haven!

An excellent accommodation choice Follow the directions to find cottage as not signed from main road and it is road to Bourton on Hill not on Water but easy to find. Washing machine belongs to owners but will put washing on for you if you ask. Very spacious, light and well equipped. Bed comfortable and cottage warm. South facing so gets sun... If I had to say anything bad and that is hard it would be that the bathroom is too dark to use the mirror effectively but there are other mirrors you can use. Would definitely stay again
