This property is part of our Cottages4you collection

In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

Beautifully presented and set on a working farm with idyllic countryside views to enjoy, this property is brilliant for a romantic getaway.

Situated in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside

These two holiday properties (refs 28775, 28776) offer contemporary accommodation throughout. Situated on the owner’s working farm, The Tractor Shed and The Stables are two barn conversions surrounded by open fields, which both boast far-reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. These holiday properties are located close to the charming hillside village of Bourton-on-the-Hill and are situated less than two miles from the popular market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The village is fortunate to have Batsford Estate and Arboretum close by and here you can enjoy a walk around the beautiful grounds any time of the year. From Easter to November there is a very good tea room and the Cotswold Falconry Centre is open. In the village is Bourton House with its 16th century Tythe Barn, which opens its gardens to the public weekly throughout the summer months. The heart of England Way passes through the village and along with other footpaths, provides a pleasurable way to see the countryside around this pleasant area. The village has one pub which serves wonderful food. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Ground floor: Living room with tiled floor/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 1 double (5ft) bedroom with en-suite shower over bath and toilet.

Both properties: Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-fi. Courtyard with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Welcome pack. No smoking.

Disappointed. Firstly, no answer to phone calls about key collection. Had trouble finding place due to no road sign as stated. Once again no answer from contact number. Eventually a helpful farmer pointed us in the right direction. On opening door we were greeted by a filthy tiled floor. Covered in dog hair and food crumbs! Apart from the floor the rest of the place was clean with the exception of the odd cobweb. Really not impressed that the first thing I had to do on arrival was Hoover! Nice welcome pack of wine, cheese, Tiffin, and crackers. The tractor shed is advertised as being on a working farm. This is not the case. The farm appears to be abandoned and full of fly tipped rubbish and broken machinery. We were really looking forward to staying on a working farm. Outside the accommodation is a picnic table. Some more comfy chairs would of been nice to have relaxed on. Location wise it was nice and peaceful and ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans etc, but lacked any basics like washing up liquid or salt and pepper. Overall this place had a lot of potential but let it self down with lack of care and misrepresentation.

Had the perfect weekend, a delightful cottage with lovely hosts. The perfect getaway retreat. Oh, and the cheese and biscuits were delicious.

Thank you for a lovely stay at the Tractor Shed. It was lovely and peaceful and it was great having public footpaths right at the end of the field to walk our dog off the lead from the door! The cottage is very clean, comfortable and modern and thanks very much for our welcome pack! My only feedback would be that it would be great to have somewhere to hose off a muddy dog outside as I was so scared of him ruining the carpets with muddy footprints! Thanks for a great stay, I highly recommend this place to others

Superb weekend away in a fantastic property. Not massive but is plenty big enough for the two of us plus our dog. Long walks straight from the front door, within minutes of Bourton and Moreton and all on a working farm. The view from the property is amazing and all adds to the peacefulness. Definitely going back!
