We really enjoyed our short break at The Tallet. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you will need and full of character. Arlingham is a very quiet village with the nearest local amenities in Frampton-on-Severn a few miles away. The Red Lion is a short walk up the lane and is community owned freehouse pub with a friendly welcome, excellent beer & wine and great food. Well worth a visit, we ate there three times! We found plenty to do in the area with easy walks along the banks of the Severn and the nearby canal network. There are plenty of Cotswold villages nearby if you want to venture further afield, we did. The friendly owners live on-site and apart from a brief introduction we didn't see them although we knew they were nearby if we needed help. Perfect hosts. We have no hesitation in recommending The Tallet, you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful little cottage. The owner was welcoming and friendly. Everything was provided to allow us to cook our own meals. The local pub being within walking distance, a night off cooking and a chance to sample the pub grub and real ale was also on the cards. The location is ideal for county walks, of which there a number of maps in the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to explore Gloucester and had a wonderful time. If you just want to sample the countryside, get away from the city and enjoy a private location, we thoroughly recommend The Tallet.

The Tallet is a lovely peaceful converted small barn, very warm and easy to live in. Really good bed and excellent wet room. All the rooms full of light and we were lucky to have sun shining through the windows. Arlingham is a pretty small village with a unique atmosphere, everyone really friendly. Good local pub and excellent fish restaurant at the end of The Passage. Really relaxing week, and lots to see and do in the area, great for walking and enjoying the unspoilt countryside. Nearest shop on the Green at Frampton, not a problem for us. We had a great week and were sad to leave.

had a great stay at the tallot, clean and well equipped, the only problem i had was with the internet, i could'nt get into my email or watch catch-up t.v. because the protection on my laptop would'nt allow me to. i could surf the net but that was all unless i was prepared to spend time changing settings which i was not prepared to do. i did not have this problem in the place i stayed before which i had to use a password to get on the internet. there was no password at the tallot and i think there was not enough protection for my set-up to accept. aside from this all was well owner very friendly. maybe internet needs an upgrade, if this were the case i would definately stay there again. carol.

As it was a self-catering cottage we would have expected some storage space for food items. Obviously there was a fridge but for non-perishables there was nothing. A lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful location .

A lovely holiday in a quiet rural location, with a friendly reception and everything we needed in the cottage. Lovely walks by the River Severn, and lots of nice places to visit in the area.
